Housing for Womenin Transition

Safety, Respect, and a Fresh Start
we recognize that women navigating difficult circumstances often face unique and complex challenges. Whether escaping violence, experiencing homelessness due to economic hardship, or seeking refuge from conflict, their journey towards stability demands more than just a temporary roof. It requires a holistic environment of safety, respect, and tangible support to truly enable a fresh start.
This is precisely what our Housing for Women in Transition program delivers. Leveraging our unique model of acquiring and meticulously managing properties, Sauber Association dedicates specific residences to serve as secure havens for women in profound need across Europe. These are not merely shelters; they are thoughtfully designed spaces built to foster healing, rebuild confidence, and empower women to regain control over their lives.
Our Commitment to Women in Transition
Free, Short-Term Housing Solutions: We provide fully furnished, comfortable, and absolutely free accommodation. The “short-term” nature is designed to be a crucial bridge – a period of respite and intense support that allows women to stabilize their lives without the immediate pressure of housing costs. This critical window empowers them to focus on their well-being, explore options, and plan for sustainable independence, rather than being trapped in a cycle of instability.
Safety as the Foremost Priority: For women in transition, especially those fleeing violence or experiencing profound vulnerability, physical and emotional safety is paramount. Our residences are secured, confidential, and managed to create an environment of peace and protection. We implement best practices in shelter management, ensuring that every woman feels secure enough to begin her healing journey, free from fear and external threats.
Respect as a Guiding Principle: Every aspect of our housing program is imbued with a deep sense of respect for the individual. We understand that women arriving at our residences have often endured immense hardship and trauma. Our spaces are clean, well-maintained, and designed to foster dignity and autonomy. We prioritize privacy within shared living contexts and empower women to make choices about their own lives, moving away from past controlling or disempowering experiences. It’s about restoring their inherent worth.
Our residences are not isolated; they are strategically located and directly connected to a robust network of specialized services
