Managed with the strategic acumen of Dust Fiduciaire, Sauber takes a proactive step into the economic landscape by acquiring or launching businesses in various sectors. This isn’t about profit maximization in the conventional sense, but about integrating social impact directly into viable commercial operations. By doing so, we create self-sustaining engines of change, offering consistent opportunities where they are needed most.

We’re a non-governmental organization dedicated to acquiring real estate properties to create secure living environments for vulnerable individuals and families.

This means we actively purchase real estate—whether it’s an apartment building, individual homes, or even land to build on—specifically to address the urgent need for stable housing. We aren’t just an advocacy group or a service provider; we’re taking direct action to increase the stock of safe, affordable, and permanent housing solutions.

This is precisely what our Housing for Women in Transition program delivers. Leveraging our unique model of acquiring and meticulously managing properties, Sauber Association dedicates specific residences to serve as secure havens for women in profound need across Europe. These are not merely shelters; they are thoughtfully designed spaces built to foster healing, rebuild confidence, and empower women to regain control over their lives.

We provide open access to knowledge, ensuring that learning is inclusive, accessible, and tailored to the diverse needs of Europe’s most vulnerable. With the overarching vision of Dust Fiduciaire guiding our strategic property use, we transform spaces into dynamic learning hubs where individuals can acquire fundamental skills, gain confidence, and integrate more fully into their new communities.

While secure housing, access to food, and fundamental education are indeed critical pillars of our mission, we understand that nurturing the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – is essential for true healing, integration, and the flourishing of life.

stories of change

Georges seeking a second chance

Georges experienced homelessness for years. He was a cocaine and alcohol addict off and on for over 20 years. Despite his struggles, Georges never thought he would enroll in any of Sauber’s programs. For years, Georges would come through our doors for a rare lunch or dinner. It was only when he started seeing people he knew from the streets get the help that they needed, that he was inspired to make a change in his own life.

“I wasn’t happy doing drugs and drinking. I was always miserable. That’s when I decided to come to Sauber and enter a Fresh Start program.”
