Focus: Providing Materials & Empowering Education/Access
In a remote Romanian village, children often struggled to keep up with their urban counterparts. While schools tried their best, access to computers and reliable internet was severely limited, creating a significant digital divide. Online learning, research, and even basic digital literacy were luxuries few could afford.
Sauber Association identified this critical gap. Understanding that access to technology is a fundamental building block for future success, we partnered with the local school to establish a dedicated “Community Tech Hub.” Sauber provided a donation of 20 refurbished laptops, a high-speed internet router, and a printer, along with essential software licenses. This was more than just equipment; it was an investment in digital equity.
Before Sauber's help, our students were at a huge disadvantage," explains Ms. Popescu, the village's dedicated head teacher. "Now, they can access online resources, complete assignments, and even learn basic coding. It has completely transformed their learning experience and opened up a world of possibilities they never knew existed

The Tech Hub is now bustling after school hours, with students eagerly researching projects and adults attending evening classes to learn computer skills. Thanks to Sauber’s strategic supply of essential materials, this small village is now leapfrogging into the digital age, empowering its residents with the tools they need to thrive in a connected world.
